New term: algorithmic exclusion

Algorithmic exclusion is a form of AI failure in which limited, fragmented, or low-quality data prevents systems from generating predictions about certain individuals or groups.

This is different from AI bias, because the data has to be in an AI system for AI to be biased against it. Exclusion is impacting loans, financing agreements, job opportunities, and online market places. New company with little data in the wild? exclusion.
