On the ballot: eliminating MO state income tax

More than 80% of voters in Missouri rejected a proposal to phase out the state income tax. Opposition leaders were the Missourians for Fair Taxation which is backed by the state realtor group. The main contention is that the opposition  wants a plan to replace the income tax.
